International House non-residential program
Our non-residential program will offer places to twenty students
enrolled in their first year of an undergraduate course at the
University of Melbourne. Local students studying Asian languages,
international studies and or inter-cultural communication; or who
are interested in internationalism and working globally should find
the program particularly attractive.
The program will offer
participants the opportunity to
- socialise with members of a culturally diverse and vibrant
community
- participate in the college's academic tutorial program (per
semester - two weekly tutorials during the teaching period, one
examination prep tutorial and up to three hours of consultation
time)
- receive support for the study of a wide range of languages
other than English (this would be of particular benefit for local
students studying Asian languages)
- use the facilities of the college such as its social areas,
library, gym and tennis court
- dine in the college up to forty times each semester
- participate in the College's co-curricular activities including
drama and music
Fee $600 per semester
